Design a standard IDL for access to remote scientific software components:
- Inspired by CORBA’s IDL ? (legacy code issues)
- Ongoing discussion with the Ninf team.

- prototype already in place with Netlib (authenticated software)
- repository for IDL files.
Run-time detection of data dependencies between NetSolve calls.
- Prototype in place (building a dependency Graph at runtime)
